Summer Fun

Sofia at Bromley Mountain Adventure ParkSummer is a beautiful time in Vermont. It is not called the Green Mountain State for nothing. Everything is green and lush and it is a great time for mountain biking and hiking in the mountains. There are lakes and rivers for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking or to just sit around with a good book. Why not go for a swim in Lake Raponda or rent a boat at Harriman Reservoir.

Summer is also the prime time for golf. There are three 18-hole golf courses within minutes away from the Inn.

Looking for adventure?  Try the Deerfield Valley Canopy Tour, a unique aerial trek through the forest canopy of the northern Berkshires via zip line.  Bridges and rappels take you to platforms high above the forest floor offering participants an unparalleled view of the forest and surrounding countryside.

Or stroll through galleries and shops in the valley or visit the weekend flea markets in Wilmington or Newfane.
