Make The Gray Ghost Inn Your Base Camp

Gray Ghost Inn with Vintage CarsThe Gray Ghost Inn is a perfect destination for any group looking to tour Vermont for a relaxing weekend or longer. It makes a great base camp to explore the Green Mountains of Vermont or the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Enjoy a full day’s touring, which can be selected from the extensive compilation of maps and pre-ridden routes, with stops and attractions to appeal to all, available from the front desk book. Return to the Inn for a cup of coffee or an adult beverage that you can enjoy from our front porch or large pool out back. Come evening, gather around the communal fire pit in the backyard while kicking tires with friends old and new.

Whether traveling with a group or on your own, you’ll become part of the family when staying at the Gray Ghost Inn. Starting your day with a belly-filling breakfast cooked to order, you’ll have the finest roads to explore before returning to another home-cooked dinner (which can be pre-arranged), good company and a comfortable bed. There are also several restaurants within walking distance.

Car Brochure 2021 Page 1

Vermont offers arguably the best scenery in the north east and the Gray Ghost Inn is located central to all the best spots in southern Vermont.

In addition, we have mapped out over 20 of the best routes of various lengths from the 44 mile curvy and hilly ride perfectly named “Giddy from the turns” to the 300 mile spectacular Vermont Byways Ride. If you have points of interest you would like to include we will map you a ride there and back.

Here is a sampling of the maps we have written and ridden. They have some highlighted points of interest and suggested stops. A one page description or overview of the trip as well as a turn by turn description will be printed for you upon arrival.  Need more information?  Just download our 2021 brochure — Cruise Vermont’s Twists & Turns.
