I know many of you are aware of the Floodstock concerts, which have been scheduled for September 23 and 24 this Fall to benefit those affected by the post-Irene hurricane flooding here in Vermont. These shows offer a great opportunity to get up to Vermont to enjoy foliage, take an autumn vacation, and to help our hurricane-damaged area by enjoying some great music! The Gray Ghost Inn still has rooms available but space is filling fast. Be sure to get your reservations soon, before all the rooms are booked. Here’s the website address for more information: http://www.floodstockvt.com/index.html We will pass along more info as we get it.
Hurricane Irene was quite a storm but we’re happy to report that the Gray Ghost Inn made it through unscathed. Although there is some clean-up to do around the state of Vermont, the Gray Ghost Inn is open and receiving visitors. If you’ve made a reservation, come on up (but call first so we can help you with alternate routes). Vermont is still here and there’s more to see than ever. Don’t think twice — your room is waiting… And thanks for thinking of us! We appreciate the calls and emails.
