New Green Mountain Adventure Challenge Starts Soon!

Looking for adventure? Join us at the Gray Ghost Inn this summer while you take part in the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge –an epic real life action-adventure game that presents you with a reality-based secret world hidden in plain sight that can only be revealed by solving a series of riddles and clues hidden in the Vermont forests, mountains, rivers, and sometimes with locals themselves. The 2017 Adventure Challenge season opens Fri, May 26th, 2017 and stays open until Monday, September 4th, 2017.

Gray Ghost Inn to Host Chicken Strip Killer Classic Scooter Rally

Greetings, scooter enthusiasts!  Gray Ghost Inn is pleased to announce the “Chicken Strip Killer” Classic — a weekend-long rally for all makes, models, and mods of scooter.  Our location in Dover, Vermont is perfect for adventurous scooter touring with its rolling hills and curving byways.  The event organizers have packed the schedule with a big morning ride and scooter games around town in the afternoon. We’ll wrap up the rally with a big BBQ, prizes, and whatever the night brings.. For nature and history enthusiasts, there’s From Railroads to Wildlife: Learning Walks in Southern Vermont. This year’s history focus is railroad history. And for those who prefer challenging indoor recreation, we’re continuing our popular bridge tour with Learn by Playing: Bridge Lessons in the Green Mountains.

Gray Ghost Inn To Host Road Scholar Humanism Course

This spring and summer, Gray Ghost Inn will be hosting two Road Scholar courses devoted to Humanism.  The next tour is scheduled for Oct 16-21.  Cost per person is $799 per person based on double occupancy with $145 supplemental charge for a private room.  Price includes lodging, meals, instruction, and outings. Entitled “Humanism — An Ethical World View,” participants will have an opportunity to discuss issues and ideas both historic and modern including the great questions of life and the answers humanism provides. March Skiing in Southern Vermont

Mount Snow is planning to fire up the snowmaking system to refresh fan gun trails for the weekend. The grooming department is also spending some extra time on the hill double grooming key terrain and using the renovator on some trails. In short, we are still taking this season very seriously and think there is plenty of great skiing and riding ahead in the month of March.
